"I'm still a man after all, not fully blossomed but willing to bloom."
An Interlude by newlovenewhate

Summary:
Edward is famous. Bella isn't. They meet and talk and fall.

I like the simplicity of this summary, but it may not be a real indication of how interesting and poetic this story is. The writing has a dreamy quality with its word play and rhythm. It's sparse in terms of the number of words written, but there's just enough detail to captivate the reader. The characters, Edward and Bella, are equally interesting as well.

Edward is famous but isn't an A-list celebrity like you might expect. There's awkwardness and quirks that make up his personality as well as that of Bella's. What I love though, is that neither of their personalities are over the top. They aren't overly snarky, overly dazzling, overly shy, or overly whatever. They meet in a diner where, after some time, there's a subtle attraction between them.

10 chapters are posted and it just started updating again after a bit of a break. The author said at one point that it'll be a short story. I really enjoy it, which is why I'm posting here for the first time recommending it. I hope others give it a go.
