Author's Summary: When Bella and Edward return home from Volterra in New Moon, she isn't sure if she can still love him after everything that has happened.  Their problems extend far beyond the vampire/human power imbalance, as she realizes that Edward will never allow them to be equal partners in the relationship.

The next morning, Bella awakens in a time and place she would have never imagined: Houston, 1862. Far from home, her family, and everything she has ever known, Bella must decide how far she is willing to go to follow her heart. (B/J)

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I fell in love with this story. Being an avid Bella/Edward fan, I put off reading this for awhile. However, I'm completely enraptured by this story. Not only do you see the evolution of Jasper and Bella's relationship, but you catch a glimpse of what like was like in 1800's Texas. There's only a few more chapters, but I can't wait to see how this story develops. It's still considered a W.I.P., but I am more than willing to wait for each chapter.
