I'm back again! lol

Wrenfield Hall

by Wannabe Charlotte

Summary: In 1870s England, Bella finds herself without home or family when her father dies. She secures a position as a housemaid in a country manor belonging to Lord Edward Masen. The two form a bond that is threatened by class differences and Edward's past.

I'm a sucker for period pieces.  This is so well written and captivating.  If you love novels by Jane Austen and Charlotte Bronte, you'll love reading this fic.

Dreamscapes Book 1: The Return

Summary: To the waking world, Bella is an ordinary twenty-something, fearful of pursuing what she wants most–life that matches the brilliance of her dreams. An encounter on a flight sparks a journey beyond her wildest and proves that appearances can be deceiving.

The description and imagination put into this fic is unreal.  I feel like I'm reading Tolkien because of the new world the author has created.  It's only a few chapters in, but it automatically pulls you into this different dimension.  It's a lot different from any other fic I've read.  So, if you like TRUE alternate universe, magic, and mystery, you're going to absolutely adore this fic.

Elysian Fields

by MonstrousRegiment

Summary: The Masen crypt was the only crypt in the graveyard who never got a visitor, until its unlikely resident brought in an unexpected guest, in an effort to unravel the mess they inexplicably found themselves in. AU, B/E.

Really love this story.  It takes vampire fics to a whole new level.  Forget everything you know of the vampire world in Twilight.  This isn't Twilight by any means.  It's dark, witty and full of imagination.  This is definitely a good read and worth checking out.

(don't know who made the banner, but whoever it is, big props to you).

We Were Here
by lola-pops

Summary by the author: Upon waking, there's a brief, blissful period in which you don't yet recall the sins of the night before, but eventually, you have to open your eyes. I'm Bella Swan, seventeen years old, cheerleader. This morning I woke up in the wrong bed.

Bella has been dating Jasper for 6 years but after a party she wakes up in the bed of Edward. After that night she knows she has to end things with Jasper at the risk to loose her friends and "reputation". Can she really be with Edward? a lost guy who has a thing for graffitis and getting in trouble...? I love every characters of this fic, she did a great job with Rosalie and Jake.
This fanfiction draws you in from the first chapter. It's well written and has a particular angsty and melancholic mood. I'm sure you heard about this fic already, it totally deserves to be in your 'to read' list!!!
I hope you like the banner I made! I'm really proud of it :D

Goodnight, Noises Everywhere
by Feisty Y. Beden

Summary by the author: Bella is the only survivor of a virus which has killed off the human race. Is there anyone-anything-still alive on this dying planet? Entry for the Twilight 25 Challenge. Post-apocalyptic good times. Bella/Edward

Poetic, sad and unique. This is one of the story that remind me that there are amazingly talented authors in this fandom. Please please read it. The chapters are very shorts
Can you spot the skull on the banner? ;)

The Best I Ever Had
by WhatsMyNomDePlume

Summary by the author: Sex between friends complicates everything. Bella knows this. But she has no idea how much more Edward is going to complicate things.

Sweet, funny, really really well written, this one is a must read. It's going to be like 10 chapters I think maybe even less. The author update often.
I'm too lazy to make a banner myself so I put the 'official' one made by the very talented famouslyso

A Quiet Fire
by Magnolia822

Summary by the author: "But true love is a durable fire, In the mind ever burning, never sick, never old, never dead, From itself never turning." Ten years after a tragedy parted them, childhood friends Edward and Bella meet again. Can what was lost be recovered? E/B Some OOC

Edward and Bella were childhood friends. At 14 years old (if I remember correctly) they become more but a tragedy tear them apart. A few years later, they meet again at the University of Chicago. Revelations and a love that was never really extinguished is going to push them together again.
This is a great fanfiction, one of my favourite at the moment. I read all the chapters at once. You should give it a try!
(I'm rating nc-17 just in case for the future chapters).

Awake in the Infinite Cold
by quothme

Summary by the author: Sometimes the fruit is forbidden for a reason. A mélange of Twilight and How to Be, with an Artward who so carefully and so softly sneaks under her skin and into her soul. Not your typical E/B romance. Complete.

Quothme is a brillant author, I love everything she wrote. I don't know if you remember but a while ago I rec'ed Type O Negative, a great AU fic that was from her.
Awake in the Infinite Cold is the saddest and most touching story I read. I felt like watching Elephant Man all over again. I NEVER cried this much while reading a fanfiction (or an actual book I think!) and not the little tear on the cheek, it was full sobbing and all. I don't have the words to describe how much I love it.
I feel obligated to tell you that one of the main character die. I never read fic with character death, it's too hard but I didn't know when I started this one and I was so into it, I really wanted to know the end even if it was really sad. Even thinking of it...it makes me want to cry!
I don't want to tell you about the plot because it's ten times better to discover everything as you read it. If you want more details, leave a comment.
I hope you will give a chance to this AMAZING fic.

Dead On My Feet
by Cesca Marie

Summary by the author: Recovering from a serious illness, Edward knows what it is to be invisible but obvious to everyone around him. Bella, who has watched a loved one die of protracted illness, understands the tightrope-act of life in an unpredictable body. Alienated by his disease, Edward finds a friend in Forks' newest resident. The only problem is that she sees far more than anyone else does – including the things he doesn't want seen.

I heard negative comments about this one, well not exactly about the fic but about Bella's character. Honestly I disagree with all I read, this Bella is one of the most complex and interesting character I read in a fanfiction. I loved her from the beginning to the end. I loved this fic for different reasons, most of all because it talks about cancer in a realistic way (I'm not an expert but you understand right away that the author knows what she's talking about). It's moving but never pathetic (I mean that you don't pity the characters). It's funny and quirky. Be careful it's rated NC-17!
I hope you will enjoy it as much as me.
